Demir and Kazan are friends. Demir is a chemistry teacher who was expelled from the university. Kazan is a butcher and has his own small butcher shop. Demir promises an expensive drug to a mafia boss and fails to deliver it on time. Demir is hurt by the mafia, so he asks his friend Kazan for help. In the 15th century, in Central Asia, the ruler of the Darebey Khanate, Adalet Khan, had two sons — the wise and brave Hozu, and the cunning Karabugday. Seeking to seize the throne, Karabugday kills their father during a hunt and blames Hozu, who is imprisoned. Under Karabugday’s incompetent rule, the khanate weakens, and famine and chaos spread.

Hozu tries himself in various business fields in this film. As he promised his mother, he will work in the newspaper where he has set his finger and by chance he comes across an advertisement "An old woman is looking for a nanny". Hozu keeps his promise and endures all the old woman's whims. Even though the old woman tries various ways to kick Hozu out of the house, Hozu easily overcomes all the difficulties.

The hero, who wants to volunteer to help with his neighbor's funeral, is unexpectedly confronted with the most shocking truth of his life - the deceased is his close relative. During the days he spends in cemeteries, the hero meets various people, witnesses their painful and touching stories. These acquaintances change his worldview, but at the same time they drag him into an increasingly hopeless situation.
