Assamese film

Aloxuwa Mon is a 2009 Assamese-language drama film directed by Rajesh Bhuyan. The film features the likes of Barsha Rani Bishaya, Saurabh Hazarika, Arup Baishya, and Bishnu Kharghoria in the lead roles. The story, screenplay, and dialogue were crafted by Munin Barua. The film revolves around the lives of four unemployed educated youths from lower-middle-class families of Tinsukia, Assam who are entangled by their own misfortunes. Set amidst a period of extremist uprisings, frequent bombings, corruption, and socio-political unrest, the movie tries to explore the struggles and aspirations of the helpless youth in a small town trying to meet ends, while facing the burden of responsibilities.
