A slick private eye set out to investigate the death of a young rapper, only to find himself knee-deep in drugs, guns, and double crosses.

After a drug deal gone wrong, two New York City hustlers relocate to Miami, where they set up a lucrative credit card fraud operation. Unfortunately, their new business not only attracts the police, but the city's top criminals -- and both want a percentage of the take.

In this contemporary moralist drama, five young African-American men and one woman gather in an apartment after the funeral of a friend. Trying to escape from the afternoon's sombre mood, they talk, watch TV, listen to music, crack jokes, smoke marijuana, and try to avoid the social, political, and emotional issues behind the black-on-black crime devastating their community. However, these issues still present themselves, whether or not they are invited into the proceedings.

While indulging his appetite for the grim and gruesome by patronizing a voyeuristic Web site that's based in a house where a serial killer once lived, a hearing-impaired boy begins to suspect that the site's violence is more than just make-believe.
