Based on one of the most famous novels by Syrian novelist Khairy Al-Zahabi, the film tells the story of a woman from a Syrian family who is married but always treated badly by her husband, and is good at embroidery.

Four political activists friends are arrested by the repressive regime in Syria in the 1970s and spend twenty years in detention, three of them are released, and the fourth remains. The three friends are shocked by the huge changes they found in society, while showing the hardships their fourth comrade faces in prison.

The events take place inside a restaurant, where a group of people meet, and strange situations happen to them, which put them in a difficult test, between moments of fear, rivalry and closeness.
