A young worker is infatuated with the factory owner's daughter.

Two brothers inherit a lot of wealth. One of them tries to get rid of his brother and use his money. When he fails to do so, he looks to abuse someone else using his brother to further his intentions. Eventually, the truth is revealed and he is arrested.

The newlyweds' return is met with two incidents: first, the groom's uncle returns from a trip to Paris, and then a woman is brought into the house by the servant for a romantic encounter. With the arrival of the bride, groom, and uncle, the servant hides the woman. This woman plays an important role in the family because the uncle's ex-wife was the groom's lover.
