The story of a young man from a lower-class family who falls in love with a wealthy girl. Despite the class difference and the obstacles they face, their love endures, and they must navigate the challenges posed by their families' social disparity and the economic hardships of the time.

Osman is a tram conductor, Sayed is a tram driver, and his son, Taata, loves singing. Taata meets the dancer, Nosa, and they fall in love. She invites him to visit her at the cabaret. Nosa's friend, Ajoura, is annoyed by Taata's appearance. A wealthy man offers him a job as a singer with Nosa in the cabaret. Osman tries to push his son to marry his neighbor.

Hassan is a taxi driver, and his cousin is also called Hassan, but he is a con man. Hassan the con man marries his cousin, the sister of Hassan the driver. Hanzel Pasha opposes the friendship between his son Kamal and Antar Effendi, as he believes that Antar Effendi is the reason for Kamal's moral corruption, but the truth is the opposite. He tries to force Kamal to marry Gamalat, who loves Antar Effendi, so Kamal decides to travel and escape, and events escalate.
