There is a man who divorced his wife. He moved to rural Hokkaido from Tokyo where he lived with his family without running water or electricity. He has his son and daughter in tow and works hard for them. The folk in the area try to help. A couple of years pass and the older son moves back to Tokyo, attends school and works part-time. The daughter commutes to the city to attend school. She wants to become a nurse. To become a registered nurse she needs to study a further three years. This takes money.
Anyone who touches the doll will be cursed by the "corpse spirit". Will you be slaughtered? Or will you be released from the haunting? The game of survival for life begins!
Using his strong sense of justice, Uragami Ryuji gains influence at both the factory and school. Though a dispute with the Nio-kai yakuza is once settled, their renewed provocation leads Ryuji and his followers to quit the factory and confront the Nio-kai directly.
Kumiko, a fledgling newspaper reporter, was covering the murder case as it was. A police investigation revealed that the murdered woman had been stalking relentlessly during her lifetime. And Kumiko notices that a strange voice is recorded on her on-site coverage tape. "... No one helps. No one forgives." The curse of the grudge causes the detectives and criminals who did not save from the stalker to die one after another. And the distorted madness of the grudge also applies to Kumiko.
After being hit by Kyouko's car, office worker Hideo starts regularly meeting up Kyouko after the accident. With each meeting their feelings for each start to grow and they soon fall in love. The only problem is that Kyouko is married to and has a child with a yakuza boss who is currently in prison.
A woman is slaughtered. The police suspect her colleague named Kayo of the murder. But Kayo's blind young brother Seiji gives evidence in favor of Kayo. And more someone whom Kayo has a grudge against are massacred. Kayo tries to solve the mystery.
A wife, bored with her husband, meets one of his old friends at a party. He manages a strip club. Intrigued, she goes with him to visit one of his clubs. One of the strippers is upset and the manager has to pleasure her to calm her down. The wife is aroused by the sight of this and later invites him to her house. There they begin a passionate affair behind her husband’s back.
