A "Goze" is a blind entertainer who travels to various places singing stories while playing the shamisen (Japanese three-stringed lute). Becoming a goze due to her blindness at seven-years-old, Haru was strictly trained with a parent's affection by her once kind mother, Tome.

When a new employee from a well-off family begins working for the first she had understood that she is walking into a fabulous working environment. This is what they call a 'white company.' Instead, she is in for a rude shock when the employer turns out to be a 'black company,' which is one with a negative environment, a rude boss, problematic co-workers, abuse and low pay. The employee's father runs a company that happens to go broke. She herself is not a model employee exactly however.

Facing an unacceptable reality, a teacher is trying to reclaim relationships with his family, students and former friends. Reassessing his past, he contemplates how to go on with his life.

Tōko works as a shrine maiden. Her days are full of joy, as she would be called out by the village people to play or sometimes simply savor time with nothing spectacular to do. One day, Tōko finds out that the village festival which she has been waiting for with great anticipation will be cancelled due to an old superstition. Tōko, who wants to make the festival happen, starts preparations against the advice of the villagers. Events unfold in an unexpected direction when she meets a strange little girl by the lake.


Shohei Kazama (Kinya Kitaoji), who travels all over the country and works as a special police chief, is new to the Iwaki Tokiwa Police Station in Fukushima Prefecture. Kenichi Nishino (Yuma Nakayama) and Kanji Takizaki (Hiroki Okada), the head of the criminal division, express their repulsion. Dai Kuramochi (Hiroshi Katsuno), an alumnus of the Fukushima Prefectural Police, tries to calm him down, but for some reason he continues to show hostility. At that time, Hisashi Ono's (Ichiro Ogura) body is found.

Naomi Kishi who has a habit of self-harm, grew up with a mother with an abnormally strong desire for control and was profoundly ill. Naomi's relationship with her mother became unbearable, and she fled her parents' home. She goes to a downtown area where her mother is out of sight. She is caught when she enters an old-fashioned coffee shop, eats and drinks without paying. However, the coffee shop manager does not take her to task and even offers her a place to live. She begins living in a shared house in the downtown area, and gradually regains her true self through contact with unique people she has never met before in her life.

Set in war-torn 15th century Kyoto, on the eve of the Onin War, the movie centers on a band of outlaws led by Hyoe, a scoundrel whose lethal sword skills place him at the tip of the spear in a deadly uprising against the corrupt Shogunate and its army, led by former friend-turned-archrival Doken.

Ando can't accept this his daughter Kana committed suicide. Kana fell from the ledge of a school building and died. Ando attempts to find out the truth behind his daughter's death. He becomes suspicious of his daughter's former classmate, Saki. Saki isn't a typical high school student and she aspires to work in show business. She dominates her high school with her charisma.

The Amamiya Brothers, Masaki and Hiroto, keep looking for their older brother Takeru who disappeared one year ago. The three Amamiya brothers lost their parents when they were young. Since then, they relied only on each other. On the anniversary of their parents' death, Masaki and Hiroto expect Takeru to appear. Instead, they meet a person who has a clue on Takeru's whereabouts.
