Knowing that he has come to Rome to see Michelangelo's Pieta`, she admiringly speaks of Michlangelo as a man of eternal burning passion.

Spartacus, a prisoner of war from Tracia, was made a slave at a Roman stone quarry. A rich merchant, Alvinius, is attracted to Spartacus' combination of fighting spirit and tactfulness. He sends Spartacus to a martial arts academy. Spartacus becomes a formidable gladiator. One day, Savinius, the Roman Governor, visits the school. To entertain the important guest, a bout is held which puts Spartacus up against a renowned swordsman, Gaza. Gaza is defeated. It is then discovered that Spartacus is no ordinary prisoner of war but the best warrior in the whole Tracian Army.

In 1864, King Ludwig II is crowned the fourth King of Bavaria at the young age of 18, following the sudden death of his father, King Maximilian II. However, the government bureaucrats do not understand his actions as a patron of the arts, valuing beauty and art over politics, and he gradually becomes isolated within the royal court. Ludwig, who is wounded, is visited by a beautiful vision (a giant bird), which is neither dream nor reality.

Suzuki’s world is shattered when his teenage daughter is brutally attacked. The assailant, Ishihara, son of a politician, brazenly mocks Suzuki as he throws him cover-up money. Angry, Suzuki finds he has no answer to Ishihara and in venting his anger, loses his daughter’s trust too. A sleep-deprived, crazed Suzuki goes to Ishihara’s school wielding a knife. He does not find Ishihara, but instead forms an alliance with an odd group of school misfits called the Zombies. The group’s elusive leader, Pak Sun Shin, decides to train Suzuki, who quits his job and embarks on a punishing programme to win back freedom for his daughter.
Baikinman is snatched by a black cloud inhabited by a princess who loves black, Kuroyuki-hime (Black Snow). She is immediately thrilled with him and starts making trouble with him, turning everything black. However, both Dokin-chan and Anpanman are determined to stop her.
