A wealthy boy is involved with three girls from three different religions: Rachel, a Jew that he lies to and claims to be a Jew himself, Marika, a Greek Christian, and Fatma, a Muslim woman whom his father wants him to marry.

Ghalban and Farhan are two friends who live together and suffer from poverty, hunger, and not finding a job.
