The Kellys are a bourgeois family that have fallen into hard times. Crixus brings audiences back to ancient times, telling the story of a gladiator who becomes a slave and ultimately earns his freedom. Despite this, he chooses loyalty over liberty, remaining by his master’s side. This tale explores themes of devotion, identity, and the complex bonds that form through shared struggles.
