Michael Frederick "Mick" Box is the lead guitarist of British rock group Uriah Heep. He is the only member from the band's founding in 1969 who is still active with the group.
Uriah Heep's progressive heavy metal sound made the British band one of the most popular hard rock groups of the 1970s. The boys are still at the top of their game in this live 1985 concert at the Camden Palace in London. Tracks include "Sell Your Soul," "Stealin'," "The Other Side of Midnight," "Gypsy," "Bad Blood" and more. (Incidentally, Uriah Heep is the wicked clerk of Mr. Wickfield in Charles Dickens's classic novel "David Copperfield".)
Follows the parallel stories of a number of characters who are trying to change their lives via the Internet or are simply having fun online.
At Heavy Metal’s dawn, the sun rose to the beat of Lee Kerslake’s powerhouse drumming. Through a career of 50 years and 60 million albums sold, he became a legend. Now he must face the end of his days. He reconnects with lifelong pals from Kiss, Ozzy Osbourne, Def Leppard, Deep Purple and Iron Maiden, and performs one last time with the band he created, Uriah Heep.
These are the great ones that have shaped rock music. Twelve very different guitarists, each of whom have special skills and a unique playing technique are displaying the best of their ability here. This breathtaking collection comprises the entire spectrum of styles and paying techniques, offered by the most important rock guitarists. Starting with blues rock by Jack Bruse and Paul Kossof, the heavy metal sound of Tony Iommi or Mick Box up to the fabulous technical skills of Ritchie Blackmore and Jan Akkermans it is shown what matters with a true guitarist.
