An advertising man, young, casual and a yuppie, stands up his girlfriend and suddenly finds himself relegated to the role of the fifth wheel, which seriously questions his self-esteem.

Two friends, Robert and Edgar, both fall in love with Sasa. Sasa and Robert have an affair, but when they break up, he suspects that she is cheating on him with his boyfriend. Their love for Sasa becomes a test for their friendship and in the end the reconciliation comes too late.

The couple Franz and Maria are newly in love, but then he has to join the army and she goes on leave to Italy, from which she returns to the village in Styria unintentionally pregnant.
