Detective John Brownleaf is camping in a woodland to take some space after a recent traumatic event. Screaming from afar draws him to a cabin with a lot more to it than meets the eye.

After the death of a family patriarch, Matthew returns to the patriarch's old mansion home to help his father clear up the place. However, the mansion quickly starts to feel alive, causing Matt to confront his family's cycle of anger, depression and isolation.
