A police officer and his family arrive at their countryside home in a grim mood and unexpectedly meet Santa Claus. The children drag Santa into their scheme to save the family, while their parents start preparing for the celebration, unaware that the friendly Santa is in fact an escaped prisoner.

Late 1950s, a scientific council brings together doctors, artists and Soviet functionaries to prepare the opening of a new museum. Discussions and disputes oscillate between the ideology of the exhibition and the difficulty of procuring flooring. The minutes of the meetings from the time of the museum's founding are reopened in 2023, played out and discussed by museum directors and actors.

When the daughter of the Sun and the Moon is stolen, desperate parents call people to get their baby back. Helpers are given only three days: if at that time, the Sun's daughter will not be found, she will lose her strength and become an ordinary girl. A journey of danger and adventure, which teaches everyone not only to be brave and resourceful, but also helpful. The Latvian animated film is based on folklore motifs.

Ourelijs and Medards are two outwardly different individuals who have reached dead ends in life. Their reunion at former teacher's birthday party becomes a turning point, leading both characters through mysterious night towards confrontation with the abyss of their current existences.
