The story follows Ah Can, played by Bill Tung, who travels from mainland China to Hong Kong to attend to the affairs of his recently deceased father, Fang Damao, a character also portrayed by Tung. While in Hong Kong, Ah Can is drawn into a whirlwind of events involving his gambling cousin. Along the way, he discovers his father’s hidden stash of valuable diamonds, sparking a series of comedic misadventures.
Yuen Tak Wah (Andy Lau) has been practicing Taekwondo since he was a kid and becomes an expert at it with his best trick being the 720 Degree Whirlwind Kick.
