A young woman falls in love with the man of her dreams and the couple decides to getting married. However, an unfortunate accident paralyses their lives forever.

It is a film of the childhood tragedic story of three siblings, wher their father lost his job and his family people killed him. The childhood life of those people was in the ancient Darjeeling during the british rule. One of the sibling was recalling the whole past and was writing about that after the independence of Inida. he then went to meet his siblings in distance places, but found them in much much more traumatising and proverty situations, but could not help them.

The story is about a small child who is not good in Bengali which is his native language. His Grandfather who used to be a teacher was requested by his parents to teach him that properly. The reason of his not knowing his mother tongue- Bengali as due to the generational trend of India is now following the importance to concentrate more on learning English and avoid mother tongue as to pull up their socks onto this globalization

Darakeshwar (Mithun) and Anu (Swetha) are father and daughter. Tragedy strikes as Anu drowns in Keleghai river. Now Darakeshwar's only goal is to rename the river Keleghai as Anjana in memory of his loving daughter.

This was a Film which was a colour version and a remake of one of the best film of Uttam Kumar

This was a love story. The story was sorrounded among the orphans and their care takers.
