City people set off into a warm late summer night. Glances meet in a library. At a workout, two men discuss where to buy love. A couple kisses intimately. She bites him. No sooner has he bought a match than a better offer calls. Doubts arise. A couple explains themselves in therapy. At breakfast, his match chews her egg so loud that he freezes in disgust. Melanie, a hard working stewardess, arrives late at night at her home airport. She only wants to go home and get some sleep. But someone is watching her. As she enters the parking garage someone is talking to her, but this person seems to have sinister plans for her. Melanie manages to escape the stranger. She arrives at her home but someone followed her or did she know this person? Will Melanie survive this night of terror and find out what is going on?
Three disguised Nazi women attack Liza at a train station and flee the scene, causing a serious car accident. Liza ends up in the same hospital as Vanessa, the only survivor of the crash. Liza wants to uncover the truth about the attack, but deeply rooted prejudices and racist structures—both within the police force and the families of the young women—shake Liza’s reality and call societal values into question. Vanessa struggles with her guilt and tries to find a way to face Liza. But Liza already has plans of her own…
