In 1984 East Berlin, dedicated Stasi officer Gerd Wiesler begins spying on a famous playwright and his actress-lover Christa-Maria. Wiesler becomes unexpectedly sympathetic to the couple, and faces conflicting loyalties when his superior takes a liking to Christa-Maria.

The movie deals with a guy who gets to join the German Bundeswehr involuntarily because a colleague loses his denial papers in order to get the chance to get down on his girlfriend. When entering the Bundeswehr he acts like a giant idiot and of course gets in one room with some of the biggest losers around. The loser turns out to be a hero and leads his loser-colleagues to win a contest with the local US army squad.

A fire breaks out in the Berlin Fernsehturm (Radio Tower) trapping several people in the restaurant and observation deck at the top. A team of firefighters, including a disgraced former member, rush to the rescue as chaos erupts among the trapped.

The child had made the accusation under the influence of the mother, who only wanted to take revenge for having left her for another. Does Roman say the truth? Rather accidentally, the prosecutor makes a decisive discovery.

Konstanze is perfect: attractive, mother of two, successful heart surgeon, owns her own home and, unfortunately, has recently started dating her ex-husband. Jacqueline is in her late 30s, a single mother with three children from three fathers, a big mouth with brightly painted fingernails, keeps her head above water with four mini-jobs and is once again stuck with the wrong man. Normally, these dissimilar women would never have had contact. A two-bed room in a rehab clinic becomes a battle zone between the two.

A perfectionist meets a chaos queen. When the doctor Konstanze receives a surprise visit from her lively rehab friend Jackie and her children, the house is soon turned upside down. A big challenge for the tidy doctor, but also a great opportunity to improve her poor social skills. But in contrast to the very different women, their children get along splendidly.

During the summer vacations, the three friends are about to take a trip together to Romania, where they are allowed to complete an internship on the film set of "Dracula Rises", arranged for them by Peter's father, who is responsible for the special effects during the filming. No sooner do they arrive in Transylvania than mysterious events begin to pile up at Countess Codrina's old castle, which serves as the original setting for the film. The three detectives want to find out what all this may have to do with a boy who has been missing for over 50 years, a mysterious brotherhood and an enigmatic undead. Soon, not only the filming and Peter's relationship with his father are at stake, but also the friendship of the three investigators.
