A couple find themselves in the throes of pandemic and social unrest in May of 2020.

Two undocumented Latino immigrants in Detroit become involved in a murder and rescue a witness with a rare syndrome. Together, they embark on an adventure of redemption, betrayal, and mystery amid the ruins of a city under reconstruction.
