On March 2, 2014, 14 TNA wrestlers were part of a TNA/Wrestle-1 supershow in Tokyo, Japan. TNA taped the event to air as a One Night Only pay-per-view. The TNA World Heavyweight, X Division and World Tag Team Championships were all defended during the event. The event also featured several matches not involving TNA wrestlers, dubbed "Part 1". The event honored Tenryu’s legacy in All Japan, New Japan, and WAR, highlighting his influence on Japanese wrestling.
