Retelling of the story of Dido
An ambitious production in which a dystopian world is reproduced, where social differences are emphasized by choices of costumes and scenography. The theme is food, its reuse that generates wealth and conviviality, eliminating differences. The intent of the short is to metaphorically represent how waste, leftovers, can be reborn to new life.
It tells the story of Sofia and Alessio, two souls struggling with themselves who, between the Sannio vineyards and the Felix bar, find love and the courage to truly be themselves.
Antonio Schiattaro, a traditional dairy entrepreneur from Caserta, sees his world turned upside down when his youngest daughter falls for Albert, a boy from South Tyrol. Between Merano and Villa Literno, culture clashes and family bonds collide in a heartfelt story about love, tradition, and the courage to change. A universal tale with strong Italian roots, ready to resonate with audiences worldwide.
