On a routine voyage, a spaceship from the distant future lands on the remains of planet Earth, which, after a long ice age, is deserted and covered in snow. The two descendants of the now extinct human race (Martin Brygmann and Xenia Lach-Nielsen) hesitantly go ashore, but they fumble around so much that they fall into a crevasse. At the bottom of it, they find a treasure chest of films from "the good old days" and, through the film reels, they suddenly experience crazy situations performed by the very mysterious and not entirely ordinary human race.
Three siblings, Sofie, Jonas and Emma, move to Copenhagen when their father is appointed a job at the National Museum. Because the divine powers of the gods aren't too efficient in a modern, hi-tech world, the kids step in and come to their rescue.
