December of 1941, Northwestern Front. A German tank column is moving towards Moscow. During a mission to stop the enemy advance, Nikolai Komlev's IL-2 is shot down. Komlev manages to crash-land his plane in a remote forest clearing. He's alive, but far from friendly territory. Ahead of him is a relentless trial of severe physical and mental endurance. After battling hunger and extreme cold, evading packs of wolves and detachments of Nazi soldiers, the wounded Komlev finally makes it back to safety. But there he faces another challenge, the most life-changing of them all.

In a plane flying over Russia, there are people of different nationalities. Between the Dagestani Hasan and the Russian Kolya, a conflict erupts on a national basis, in which both, not embarrassed in expressions, become personal. Despite the passangers' best efforts, the conflict quickly escalates into a fight. With great difficulty, the fighters manage to be pulled apart, but it soon turns out that the plane is out of order and will have to be put on the water in an emergency. Anxiety in the cabin quickly turns into panic, and now those who recently fought each other are faced with a situation in which their disagreements are worth absolutely nothing.

Ivan, a successful oncologist who has created a cure for cancer, discovers suddenly that by an ironical twist of fate he is terminally ill. He realizes that he has one chance to correct the mistake he made a long time ago, and leaves his family to go to another city to the woman he loved all his life, hoping to spend the last night with her...

Sasha is stalking a man. They seem to have a common past, which Sasha can't let go. This leads her into dark territory. For he is an uncompromising photographer, who is obsessively trying to get an exhibition in a gallery. His theme is fear - and to capture this in its perfection, he puts women into shock situations in his photo shoots. In the process, reality and production become blurred, and the models pay the price. One day he turns up at Sasha's door - A dark cocktail of passion and obsession, portraying the borderline facets of photography.

The action of the film takes place in a small provincial town and is divided into four short stories connected with each other by storylines.

Today is Masha's birthday. She finally decides to meet her father, whom she has never seen. It is separated from him by only one door. She hears a childish voice for her and does not dare to call. She can't take the last step.
