All his life Myshkin was dreaming about becoming an actor. And now eight years old Dasha is trying to help him.

A young naive provincial guy Artem visits a friend in Moscow in the hope of finding a new beautiful life, but first he has to help him working the bizarre job of “sober driver” at night. On the first evening, picking up beautiful Christina from a nightclub, a misunderstanding leads to Artem ending up with her in a hotel room. Completely forgetting of last night’s events, Christina mistakes the guy for a young millionaire, and he, in turn, is in no hurry to disappoint her. With each date Artem falls more and more in love with her, but getting out of ridiculous situations becomes more difficult.

December of 1941, Northwestern Front. A German tank column is moving towards Moscow. During a mission to stop the enemy advance, Nikolai Komlev's IL-2 is shot down. Komlev manages to crash-land his plane in a remote forest clearing. He's alive, but far from friendly territory. Ahead of him is a relentless trial of severe physical and mental endurance. Life of a small town in Siberian taiga (Chulimsk) revolves around a small cafe, where a young girl Valentina works as a bartender. Valentine is in love with the local detective Shamanov, ineffable, strict yet charming man, who recently arrived to Chulimsk. Despite a loving relationship with the chemist's Shamanova Zina and his mature age, Valentine finds the courage to confess her love to Shamanov. Up to this point never noticed the beauty and uniqueness of Valentina, Shamans suddenly realizes that this sweet, modest girl is his happiness.

A small but powerful orchestra with strict melodies and rhythms in the spirit of “Avia” unleashes a mechanical frenzy: artists under a thick layer of make-up are throwing replicas from Harms' stories and notebooks. Ultimately, this plotless musical by Maxim Didenko with the artists of the Gogol Center claims to incarnate (literally, from the word “flesh”) the universe of a unique writer, the demiurge of a dislocated reality.
