Set against the backdrop of a small traveling circus, a European clown and his 5-year-old daughter lead each other through the everyday mysteries of love, magic and loss. Based on the long poem “The Clown” by Anthony Lucero.

In order to receive his fortune he has to travel to the city. On the way he loses his hat and with it the sewn in lottery ticket. The wind carries both to an enchanted wolf's ravine. Losing his chance to ever be with Lisa, Abesalom also seems to lose senses. While Lisa is forced by her family to marry Ilja, Abesalom goes through an amazing metamorphosis...
