Elisabeth and Gudrun are two Swedish divorcées, both over 40, who meet when Elisabeth parks her car on a loading zone and is ticketed by Gudrun. Despite this shaky start, a friendship grows between the two. Elizabeth, a gynecologist, is sexy and confident. She leads the shy Gudrun through the dangerous waters of single life. But as they cavort through the dance floors and bars of Stockholm's nightlife they are led to a deeper examination of the relationships with men.

Follows two girls living in Sweden in the 1960s who both dream about becoming rally drivers.

Laban and Bus are playing soccer. Laban is the goalkeeper. A hard shot from Bus flies past Laban and into the darkest tower. Ouch! Laban has to retrieve it. He is so afraid of the dark. Inside the tower, something whizzes by and Laban lets out a terrible scream as he rushes out. On his head is a small furry bundle. Bus carefully removes it and places the little tangled bundle in Laban's hands. It slowly unfolds itself. It's a baby bat! Taking care of a little bat isn't so easy; no matter what they do, the little creature doesn't look very happy. But then they come up with something they have to try, even though it means staying out in the middle of the night.

Daddy Ghost gets ready for a night of ghost work. He shows Laban his scariest ghostly haunts. The little ghost wants to sound scary, but no matter how hard he tries, he sounds cute. The problem is that Laban is scared himself when he walks through the dark corridors.

In Knohult things havn't changed much. Eulalia is tired of Nisse who's engaged in all sorts of inventions in his workshop or poaching in the forest rather than to repair the water pump. When Eulalia in protest begins swimming in soft drinks and water the plants with spirit Åsa-Nisse sees nothing else to do but to repair the pump. As with all his inventions he adds a few extra features ... When he starts the machine the ground rumbles and up comes oil instead of water! Now, not only Åsa-Nisse, but the whole Knohult sees their chance to become wealthy! But "Dunderpumpen", as he calles the invention, turns out to be stronger than anyone had imagined, and when shady Scanian oil magnates with support of the Swedish government wants their share of the pie Knohult declares themselves a republic...

Three women inherit a manor from a lady called Dolores whom none of them knows. The women are complete strangers to each other, so they meet up at the neglected mansion. Unexpectedly, the big house is occupied by a 40 year old man who had lived together with Dolores for almost a decade. Christian says he doesn’t know anything about Dolores’ earlier life, and he does everything within his power to show them that the manor is morally his and that it is all a mistake.
