A road movie about a dropout who leaves himself completely to chance. A parable about freedom, self-determination and the poetry of an undefined life.

The ferry "Delphin" is taken over by robbers and their leader Picard right as the boat embarks on its maiden voyage. Instead of a festive casino cruise, the crew and passengers get caught up in a hostage situation. The captain of the coastguard Jan Fehrmann, has to take out the villains in order to regain control of the boat.
