Rock legends the Allman Brothers perform live at New York City's Beacon Theatre in this three-hour set filmed live in March 2003. Highlights include "Midnight Rider," "Whippin' Post," "Statesboro Blues," "Desdemona" and "A Change Is Gonna Come."

The Allman Brothers Band were initially not happy with the first two releases, but they were able to fix the production mistakes only 40 years later. On April 29, a DVD will go on sale, followed by an audio recording of the famous concerts in New York 5 years ago. Then, on the Allman's favorite concert venue, the Beacon Theater, on March 26, 2009, they completely played the material of the debut (1969) and subsequent (1970) records, made under pressure from the producer in an undesirable sound for them. On March 10, 2020, hours before the United States came to a complete halt due to the pandemic, "The Brothers" gathered at Madison Square Garden to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Allman Brothers Band, the last show the band played under that name, it was on October 28, 2014 at the Beacon Theater in Manhattan. The concert turned out to be the last public appearance for the musicians on stage for the whole year, this only added mystique to the event that closed the book on half a century of musical tradition. Featuring performances by original ABB drummer Jaimoe, along with Duane Trucks, Derek Trucks, Warren Haynes, Otil Burbridge and Mark Quinones, as well as guest appearances by original pre-ABB Second Coming keyboardist Reese Wynans and Chuck Leavell, who played with the band from 1972 to 1976.

On 19 March, 2009 Eric Clapton joined the Allman Brothers Band on stage at The Beacon Theatre in New York City for the first of two historic guest appearances. Other guests that evening were Susan Tedeschi and Danny Louis of Gov't Mule. This year marks the 20th Anniversary of Allman Brothers Band performances at the Beacon and the 40th Anniversary of their founding.

In November 2018, The Doobie Brothers returned to the Beacon Theatre for the first time in 25 years to perform two of their landmark albums, Toulouse Street and The Captain And Me. Both audio and video of that special performance are now set for release on June 28. This historic performance at the Beacon offered an opportunity for Doobie fans to hear deep cuts and songs never-before performed live by the band, such as “Mamaloi,” “O’Connelly Corners,” “Ukiah,” and “The Captain And Me.” The show begins with the 10 songs from the group’s second studio album, Toulouse Street. Originally released in 1972, it’s been certified platinum. Several of the band’s most popular songs first appeared on the album, including “Jesus Is Just Alright” and “Listen To The Music,” the latter presented here with a brand new arrangement featuring horns.
