If you had the chance to make a film, what would it be? "The Egg" is a documentary about people who have ideas for films - the kind of films they want to make. The characters themselves present their ideas, and some of the stories they tell are immediately brought to life on screen.
Vaiva dreams of living in Spain with her Spanish boyfriend. Before leaving for the foreign country, she needs to save up some money for her new start and begins working as a nurse for a bedridden man in a remote village of Lithuania. Time passes by slowly here, and the Spanish lover doesn’t pick up the phone for days.
Julia, a promising twelfth-grade violinist who has suffered emotional abuse from her special education teacher for years, finally dares to fight back when the teacher keeps on her playing before a competition performance. The teacher quickly quells her resistance with threats and pushing, but as she is about to leave the classroom, Julia has an idea. When Julia goes to take the stage, the teacher pushes Julia to go for it.
