This is the story of two sixteen-year-olds, Alexandra Makarova and Danila Krasnov, who are fighting for their love and their right to be themselves. In order to be together, they must escape from their homes, go into hiding, and lead a double life. Trying to protect their freedom of choice and their individuality, they cross the line and turn into Bonnie and Clyde on the run, trying to avenge the world that has no room for them.


At the end of September 2023, several people went into the forest to make a film about the end of the world. They lived in tents for ten days as the cold weather approached. Each person came up with a character. How would they like to meet the end? What scares them and what can give them hope? Collective life in difficult conditions led to the stories intersecting and the boundaries between people and characters disappearing.

"Closing" is a film almanac made up of nine verses. Instead of a rap beat, there is beer, rain, a beach, a zoo, random conversations, and a city that lives its own life. These are not stories with a beginning and an end, but statements written into the rhythm of the festival, where cinema becomes a way to be together and a way to be alone. Any almanac is a film cypher: everyone goes to the microphone, says their piece, and leaves, leaving room for someone else. "Closing" is exactly that: a collection of voices in which you can hear laughter, fatigue, love, and meaninglessness. This is a film about how cinema closes the day and opens the night.

Having reached her forty-fifth birthday, the disappointed female choreographer Agnes, on the verge of a nervous breakdown, realizes that her life is nothing more than an uninterrupted chain of artificial, far—fetched episodes. Agnes decides to go all in to create the production of her whole life. However, in order to achieve her goal, she must come face to face with her own ego, irrevocably absorbed by a dark and bloody Persona.

In a small Ural village live only simple ordinary people except for the local hearing-impaired “fool” lyosha. he lives in a makeshift house made of garbage, weekly draws strange circles on the fields and tries to catch radio waves 24 hours a day in hope to contact representatives of extraterrestrial civilizations. the villagers laugh at lyosha and his strange hobbies, but everything changes when the one he has been calling for so long finally visits him.

The film tells about the small town of Gubkin and its inhabitants. A little-known settlement in southern Russia has a huge iron ore quarry. Through the mosaic of local stories, we will see the city and the quarry next to it, like a living creature that influences people's lives with its mood.

Lonely young seamstress Masha rents an apartment from widower Valery, who recently lost his beloved wife. Unable to come to terms with the loss, Valery visits Masha almost every day, which prevents her from improving her personal life.

Mukhabbat, an Uzbek immigrant, works at a convenience store on the outskirts of Moscow. Just like the rest of the immigrants at the store, she is forced to work without getting paid and endure mental and physical abuse, until she overcomes her fear one day and takes her fate into her own hands.

After his wife's death, Valera lives alone in his parents' old house. Suddenly, his brother Tolya returns from Germany, where he left his wife and daughter in Russia. The two hurriedly paint the fence before winter comes, while trying to solve the mystery of the Git cigarettes found in the closet. These memories make them re-evaluate their current lives.
