"Xuxa 20 anos" is a special produced by Rede Globo in honor of the 20th anniversary of the debut of presenter Xuxa Meneghel on the channel. The special was shown on October 14, 2006, and later released on DVD.
A journey back in time in the form of a cartoon with characterizations of the Trapalhões, from the time of the Roman Empire to the present day, through the Middle Ages, the Old West and the First World War. They begin the film by doing a stand-up show at the Teatro Scala, in Rio de Janeiro, receiving on stage the designer Mauricio de Sousa. From then on, the story unfolds in a cartoon, in which Os Trapalhões is chased by an evil wizard whose aim is to try to hold Didi's (always unsuccessful) hand to rule the world during the passage of the famous Halley Comet.
The Trapalhões put on a show to raise money for an orphanage run by Sister Maria (Xuxa), which is facing financial difficulties. During the performance, the ticket money is stolen. Now, the Trapalhões and Sister Maria must go on an adventure to catch the thieves.
In a small town in the interior of São Paulo, everyone lives happily: Tinoco and his fiancée Joana, Pirulito and Nhá Barbina. One day, the men in charge of opening a railroad arrive and, with them, trouble. Paulo, one of the engineers, tries to get Joana away from Tinoco. Tinoco is accused of stealing the workers' money and is arrested. Tonico pressures the delegate to investigate the case so that Tinoco can prove his innocence.

The Boogeyman: Cascão and Cebolinha go camping in the forest, but a baby boogeyman also goes there! The Forest Ogre: This story takes place in medieval times. Monica (Princess Monica) is kidnapped by a forest ogre who wants to kidnap all the princesses of the kingdoms, but Cebolinha (Sir Cebolinha) will save Monica at all costs.
Monica steps into a magical world and comes across a friendly little fairy. The fairy shares a magical secret: in this realm, everyone can pursue their true passions. Excited by the possibilities, Monica declares her love for storytelling and enthusiastically begins to weave enchanting tales for all to enjoy.
