In the middle of a city facing a new century, a group of friends between the ages of 15 and 18 live out the adventures, deceptions and anxiety of "The First Night."

Andres reaches the Mexican border to cross into the United Sates. There between each attempt, he discovers that Tijuana is a troubled city. As he waits there, Andres is not only confronted with his feelings and what he left behind, but also with those he meets.

Alan’s daily life as a driver and assistant to a federal deputy entails enduring the anger and arrogance of his superior; sufering the contempt of the deputy’s bodyguards and, above all, cleaning up all traces of his boss’ misbehaviour.
