Cora, a young language teacher, faces problems with one of her students and decides to take a sleeping pill. When she wakes up at the next morning, she notices her house is overturned, her bicycle is missing and a body was found in the Capibaribe River, in front of her house. She now finds herself between reality and fantasy, in a dilemma about her relationship with the crime.

A girl discovers that the only TV in town is going to be closed by the Mayor and the only people who can help her are the residents and a character who lives inside the television.

Janaína is an 18-year-old girl who lives with her mother and grandmother in a housing complex on the outskirts of Recife. She is the first person in her family to obtain a university degree, but an unwanted pregnancy threatens the plans she had made for her life.
