Two jerks are enlisted in the Italian army during W.W.1 and by pure luck manage to help win an important battle.

On entering her bathroom, Luisa finds a naked man showering. She calls the police at once and the man is arrested. At the police station Alberto, a psychiatrist, recognizes the man: he is Paolo, Luisa's husband. Alberto offers to help Paolo, but when the two men arrive at his home, Paolo still in his bathrobe, Luisa hugs Alberto and calls him Paolo. The 2nd is 'Quello dal basco rosso' (the one with the red beret). Sandro, a mature man, meets one of his former girlfriend and her daughter Daniela. Daniela couldn't have sex with her boyfriend because of a childhood remembrance. In fact she always remember her mother having sex with a man wearing a red beret. She discovers that man is Sandro, makes love with him and soon recovers from her obsession.

A child runs away from a orphanage and meets a man, who takes him with him: the adult also dedicates himself to courting tourists to get food. However, his love for a girl leads the boy to boycott this bond, getting his protector into trouble and ending up in prison.
