Biography
Luca Silver (they/them) is an artist and filmmaker based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, known for The Naked Eye (2021), What Is Sex? (2024), PHANTASY (2020), and their upcoming film Red Razor On Soft Skin (2026). Before they could afford a camera, they drew adventure comic books starring their classmates. In middle school, Luca began filming spy capers and action movies in the weekends and summers while turning in a video for every class project. In high school, they helped set the curriculum for the new media program and led the team to national recognition. Luca attended Columbia College Chicago for one year before the pandemic hit, whereupon moving to Nashville, Tennessee, they took the opportunity to drop out, release the fashion musical PHANTASY (2020), and spend nine months creating The Naked Eye (2021), an erotic horror film shot on iPhone, using only objects available around the house. From there, they began work in the film industry, first as an editor on the YAMAHA feature doc The Sound Of Us (2021) and then on to short films, music videos, commercials, live events, and features, in every department, behind and in front of the camera. Since then, Luca has starred in director Ryan Rox's queer coming-of-age hit Hidden Flora (2024) spent two years creating What Is Sex? (2024) with fifteen collaborators across three countries, worked on the crews of numerous Hollywood productions, and joined Dust Wave Film Collective. Their latest, Red Razor On Soft Skin (2026), is a giallo horror film about a strict mother, her timid son, and the haircut of his life. Luca Silver plans to write, direct, and edit original feature films.

Boxed In
Sam has to find out who is abusing her best friend, Amber, when she shows up on her doorstep one night with a broken nose. Her first instinct points toward Amber's boyfriend, Griffin, who had previously interrupted her boxing session while looking for Amber. Before Sam could start a fight with him, her trainer named Reid (also Amber's dad) intervened and made Griffin leave. Sam drops off Amber back at her house after spending the night and as Sam is about to drive away, she sees Griffin approach the house. Amber meets him outside and tried to get him to go away, but Reid comes out and makes him leave again. Reid takes Amber inside and before Sam can drive away, she hears yelling from inside and goes to investigate. Upon entering the house, she sees Reid hit Amber and she intervenes. Reid and Sam get into a fight where Reid almost knocks her out, but Sam gets the upper hand and takes him down. Amber helps Sam stand up and takes her to a hospital.
