During her first menarche, Laura, a young woman haunted by a fear of blood, escapes to a river in search of solace. There, she meets Milka, a girl her age who comes to her rescue. Grateful for her help, Laura decides to assist Milka in retrieving her scattered belongings in the waters, unaware that the area is notorious for its dangers.
