After his father death, Ana travels to Arenillas. There she finds herself alone, but everything changes when she meets a child. With him she embarks on an adventure, which will make her begin to accept that her father is no longer there.
Three girls in a trivial and absurd argument over how to make a paper airplane. Three adults in a sophisticated and intellectual debate about the details of a historical event. Two apparently distant problems but with a common core: the inability to manage envy and ego of the two central characters, Aran, the youngest daughter, and Artur, her father.
Carmen, a recently retired woman from León, sets off on a spontaneous trip with her family to the Catalan ‘Golden Coast' after the death of the family matriarch. What starts off as a simple farewell, or so she thinks, turns into a journey back to her roots and a part of herself she’d never really known about. It’s a comedy about family, identity, and the courage it takes to start over, no matter if it’s sooner rather than later, or later rather than sooner.
