Biography
Lola Mayo is a screenwriter and film teacher. She finds it difficult to make a living from cinema; making a living in cinema is extremely easy. In the 90s she met Javier Rebollo and stopped writing stories and poems to write films for Lola Dueñas, Carmen Machi and José Sacristán: Lo que sé de Lola (2006), La mujer sin piano (2009) El muerto y ser feliz (2012). He was very happy showing those films at festivals around the world. Rebollo and Mayo have a small production company together with Damián París, Lolita Films, which was born just 25 years ago. Today, while he continues to write with directors like Pedro Aguilera and Manuel Martín Cuenca, he teaches film students almost every day. Libertad, igualdad, fraternidad is a project she undertakes alone.

En medio de ninguna parte
A life project based on absence. Lola works in a roadside bar while she waits for her boyfriend Damián to get out of prison. When one day, now free, he appears before her, the situation shows that the relationship no longer exists. That the only real thing is loneliness. Damián packs his suitcase.
¡Hola, desconocido!
On Spain's Costa Blanca, a girl writes notes, sticks them in bottles, and tosses the bottles into the sea: "Hello, Stranger! I'm Paula and I'm 10." Fernando, a solitary man of 59, finds one of the bottles and writes to Paula. A correspondence ensues in which she tells him about her personal life (her father dead, her mother remarried, her friend gone to Algeria) ; he tells her he's not happy. Fernando's wife asks who the girl is in a photo on his desk. He makes up a story. Paula calls him ("How did you get this number?"), her mother wants to get rid of her dog, she'd like to meet Fernando. Where is this leading?
The open luggage
Amanda is a melancholic prostitute, in love with a regular client, a disenchanted doctor. Since the day Amanda met this man, he has become, without knowing it, her only client. This explains why Amanda, since then, has been stealing suitcase in a bus station in order to live. One day Amanda steals a suitcase which is different than the other. Its content will change her life.
Til Death
In this old western saloon, every day seems the same: the cowboys get drunk, the mariachis always play the same melody, two soldiers fight in an endless fight... everyone gets bored and they have known each other for a long time, for too long. Until one day a new corpse is buried in the cemetery and it's skeleton reaches the Infernal Hall. All the dead celebrate the great welcome party.
Andrea's Love
Andrea is a 15-year-old girl living in Cádiz with her mother and little brothers. Despite being a teenager, she leads a very busy life, attending high school, picking up her brothers Tomás and Fidel, as well as helping her working mother at home. Andrea has almost no time to meet her friends or do anything else. Her life is missing something, and she’s determined not to stop until she finds it.
