During the reign of the Emperor Qianlong Fong Sai-yuk accompanied his father, Fang De, to escort silk to Hangzhou

Gu Wentong learns the whereabouts of his father, who lost contact with him more than 40 years ago. Encouraged by new friend, photographer Ouyang Wenhui, Gu Wentong decides to face his father and rebuild the long-lost father-son relationship.

The film follows Pan Wuyue, a veteran who willingly gives up a comfortable life in the city to return to his rural hometown. There, he leads the villagers in planting fruit trees, developing local industries, and promoting tourism. Through hard work and perseverance, he helps lift the community out of poverty and revitalize the countryside.
