Nobody is really looking forward to Christmas this time, and someone is up to mischief with naughty pranks. The dream of owning a house in the countryside comes true by chance for a family with two children. The parents buy "a house in need of slight renovation" at auction, but have obviously overstretched themselves in several ways.
