Four Taiwanese women are tricked and forced into sexual slavery in Japan. However, they manage to escape. They now seek revenge.

The widow of a famed general teams up with an impostor posing as her late husband and schemes to steal the secrets of an elderly master swordsman. Their plans are complicated by the master's grandson, who is himself torn between his filial duty and the affections of his adopted sister.

This film tells the story of two very different but equally confused young musicians, Shanny, a harmonica singer who has been working hard for years, but whose career has not taken off and who has been hit hard by life, and Dong Dong, an ex-rock musician who is seriously ill and waiting for death to come. Their lives are changed by the presence of each other.
