Sanat yaşamına İstanbul devlet Opera ve Balesi’nde başlayan Lale Mansur, burada baş balerin olarak uzun yıllar görev yaptı. Oyunculuğa 1992 yılında BBC Televizyonu tarafından çekilen ve Yaşar Kemal’in yaşamını konu alan yönetmenliğini James Runcie’nin üstlendiği belgesel yapım ‘Childhood’ ile başladı. Bu sıralarda Los Angeles’da Eric Morris Actors Workshop’ta oyunculuk, İstanbul’da diksiyon eğitimi aldı. 1992’de ilk uzun metrajlı filmi Atıf Yılmaz’ın yönettiği ‘Düş Gezginleri’ ile Antalya Film Festivali’nde ‘En İyi Kadın Oyuncu’ dalında Altın Portakal kazandı. 1993’de Ersin Pertan’ın ‘Tersine Dünya’, Şerif Gören’in ‘Amerikalı’, 1995’de Ömer Kavur’un ‘Buluşma’, ‘Cemile’, 1997’de Atıf Yılmaz’ın ‘Nihavend Mucize’ adlı filmlerinde rol aldı. Şu anda Hatırla Sevgili'de Yasemin'in annesi Nezahat rolünde oynamaktadır.

The story of the mystical world of a young Mevlevi dervish who witnesses the emotional relationship between two young members of the palace, amid the efforts of a handful of people seeking peace in Istanbul in the days leading up to the 1798 Ottoman-French war. On his first night back in his hometown of Kütahya after living in Paris for many years, Oktay is once again confronted with the reasons that have kept him away from home for so long. The film is set in a world where traditional gender roles between women and men are reversed. Bitirim Leyla and Sarı Leman are the tough, street-smart women of their neighborhood. While Leman works in a factory, Leyla makes a living through small-time scams on the streets. Leyla cheats on her husband with a young man from the neighborhood, while Leman spends her time with male prostitutes. However, the lifestyle they lead eventually draws both women into crime.
