A moving comedy-drama about the love, identity and courage of the LGBTQ community during the first walk towards Gay Pride in 1950s England. Based on the real-life events of Yorkshire coal miners and secret gay lovers, Tommy and Eddy, who spend their annual week holiday at a quirky B & B in Blackpool, along with a few other alternative members of society – the transgender Mr. Elbridge, the ex-show girl Red Ethel and the eccentric owner Gladys and her flirty daughter Maureen.
After the murder of her husband, Amanda relocates with her daughter, Karli, and purchases a hotel in the countryside. Their fresh start is interrupted by the arrival of a mysterious man who pleads for shelter, fleeing an unknown threat.

Summer, 1940. The Battle of Britain is lost. Operation Sea Lion is now in full effect. Germany invades the coast of Britain, only several fortresses are left standing in the defence against tyranny. Amongst the chaos, two enemy soldiers find themselves trapped in one such fortress together.
Billy is a bisexual man struggling with the binary nature of the world and homophobia in the church. When he meets Lucas, a gay man, he is encouraged to open up about his feelings and finds Lucas on a similar path.
