The documentary play reconstructs the backstory of the so-called “Röhm Putsch”, during which a few hundred people got killed, depicts the intrigues between the Reichswehr (German army) and the SA, and draws an image of the character of Röhm who, prior to Hitler’s accession to power, was his friend but later got pushed more and more into the background and eventually was disposed of. Röhm, captain during the 1st World War, organisational talent, daredevil, and one of the ‘discoverers’ of the corporal Hitler, was the central figure in the secret power struggles in the just established Hitler state. He demanded a ’second revolution’ and wanted to unite the million-man army of the SA and the Reichswehr under his leadership…

As soon as the contract is finalized, the ex-sea bear is almost struck by a blow: the shady duo want to turn his quaint harbour bar "Herz von St. Pauli" into a demimonde pub with lingerie shows. The head of the Bergen Gymnasium located there is Oskar Weber, Harry's twin brother, whom he lost touch with 20 years ago. Everyone now considers Harry the strict headmaster, and who would refuse him the good advice to sign a contract with Merkur? Until the two brothers finally come face to face, they trigger the most confusing situations, which culminate in a joyful happy ending with a lap of honor followed by a crash landing.

Pierre is in Hamburg on a merchant ship with his friends Georges and Jean-Marie. While they are just looking for a good time in the twenty-four hours they have to waste in the city, Pierre is seized by the memory of a young German girl, Maria, whom he had known and probably loved when he was a prisoner of war in the bombed-out port of Hamburg. He abandons his companions in search of her, but is unable to trace her, her house having been destroyed and the search services having no record of her.
