A comical story about two brothers living in a countryside trying to solve their problems in their own way. Kris and Otto find themselves in the middle of caricature reality of countryside lifestyle; whether it’s family support, ego bragging, gasoline marketing, or playing music anywhere you go.

Ludis and his daughter live in a greedy and narcissistic village. One day Ludis’ tractor crashes and the entire village loses electricity. Ludis inadvertently touches the electric wires and becomes stiff and seemingly dead. His wife doesn’t want him placed at home, so they place him in the garage.

However, the competition for clients is fierce. Mareks ignores the established rules and upsets the delicate balance between rival taxi companies. As the morning approaches getting the money seems to be the least of Mareks problems.

The film highlights a historical event that has been little known to the general public until now, but very significant – the children's singing festival organized by Pastor Rūdolfs Guleke and teacher Kārlis Pētersons, which became the basis for future song festivals and Latvian national self-awareness.
