Thirty years after slashing a Hamilton High couple on Prom Night 1957, psychotic priest Father Jonas gets loose from the chapel basement where the other church fathers had been secretly keeping him locked up and drugged.

A detective becomes obsessed with bringing a man to justice, whom he is sure is a serial killer and the murderer of a woman with which both men were involved. However, the supposed killer may be as much a victim as the murdered people.

Consumed by hatred, recruited by the devil, a loner is given the power to destroy.
