It's Christmas time. Shortie, Beanpole, Alekos and Sinoue, everyday people, decide to reinvent themselves because in the garden of god everything seems the same. They play ball, keep notes, lose their friends, strike their enemies, working out in the yard, learning how to dance, reciting poetry. They drink alcohol, paint, set fire to their bodies. And they promised to themselves, this Christmas to "make their way down" to the sea.

Stella is a beautiful young girl who dreams of becoming one day a famous singer. Her boyfriend Andreas leads a quiet life working at his small store, and doesn't approve Stella's quest for fame. When she decides to leave Athens for a singing job offered to her somewhere in north Greece, Andreas sets off on a quest to find her again and convince her to come back to him

A young Greek man goes to Paris seeking help from a solitary and almost misanthropic distant relative who works as a furrier. With him, he takes nothing from his homeland but a photograph of a woman that he finds on the pavement. A misunderstanding regarding the photograph sets off a series of dramatic misunderstandings which trap him in a vicious circle of lies and fantasies.

The film is based on the novel of the same name by Nikos Kasdaglis and deals with the experiences of a group of soldiers during their military service in 1953, four years after the civil war.

Theophilus Palios, owns a small traditional publishing house. He man madly falls in love with Sia, that is doing vocals on the show of a known singer. Sia maintains her living by the "generosity" of old fans. In the face of Theophilus, Sia will experience true love, though it continues to accept the offers of numerous admirers.
