An adaptation of Hemingway's story "White Elephants". The action takes place on a godforsaken old train station in the middle of beautiful Ukrainian mountains. We are witnessing the most difficult conversation in the lives of a man and a woman who are trying to justify their difficult decision and attempting to save the relationship.

For years, Andrei Evilenko eluded the obsessive Detective Lesiev and the psychiatric profiler Aron Richter. Spurred on by his rabid fury at the gradual crumbling of his precious Soviet Union, Evilenko is a man who will live, die and kill as a communist.

Present, past and future merge in the wagons of a train that crosses Eastern Europe in the XXI century: Poland, Russia, Ukraine. The slogan of the post-war "Never Again" sounds now like a fairy tale. Everything is happening again. Everywhere.

An absurd black comedy about the ridiculous incident during a funeral. None of the guests could possibly imagine that the body embarked on an unlikely journey. Nobody except for the tractor driver, a pair of poachers, two fishing control officers, and the staff of the local hospital. One can only wonder how this bizarre funeral might end.
