Long is a single dentist with a monotonous life, toiling away at work day until a fateful encounter with a customer, the beautiful emerging actress Tram. Engrossed with his new crush, Long ends up following Tram into her ongoing production for a film about belly dancing.

Hoping to reconnect with his Vietnamese roots, Dũng, an American engineer, spends his entire annual leave to stay in Saigon. He enlists the help of his close friend Lâm whose playboy and hedonistic lifestyle will steer his homecoming in a very different trajectory.

In modern-day Saigon, three lonely strangers form a unique family as a ten-year old orphan plays matchmaker to a zookeeper and a beautiful flight attendant.
